Chinese investors will invest in the Sochi Olympic construction
Chinese investment companies are willing to spend up to two billion dollars in construction of hotels in Sochi. At the same time, the Chinese Olympic buildings will occupy the capital, if they guarantee the redemption of constructed facilities after the Olympics in 2014.
The fact that companies from China are interested in Olympic construction in Sochi, said in a materials center for economic and investment cooperation between Russia and China, established in 2009 with the Ministry of Economic Development. The document says that the Chinese are going their own funds to build in Sochi at least 10 hotels on 13 thousand rooms.
To build a hotel, Chinese companies want for a Russian or foreign customer, who subsequently redeem the hotel itself or to ensure implementation of the object to another investor. The letter notes that objects can be redeveloped for housing.
At the present time is compiling a list of companies that will participate in the project with the Russian side. In this case the center of economic and investment cooperation between Russia and China stress that the pool of Chinese investors have already formed. It, inter alia, include Builders Association of China and a number of banking institutions.
In total, in the Krasnodar Territory in preparation for the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi will build more than 200 different objects, including hotels.
In late 2009, President Builders Association of Russia Nikolai Koshman said that in the coming years, Chinese investors plan to invest in various sectors of Russian real estate market more than two billion dollars.
